About Me

Aronjakob.se is written by me, Aron Ambrosiani. Some quick facts:

• Since May 2008, I live in Hökarängen of Southern Stockholm, Sweden. Originally, I’m from Midsommarkransen (also Stockholm).

• I am an Assistant Curator at the Nobel Museum. There’s quite a lot of Nobel related posts in the blog, but the content is not in any way the official stance of the Nobel Museum of the Nobel Foundation. Any opinions here are completely my own. Do ask me about Nobel Laureates or Nobel himself, though!

• My interests can be counted on the fingers of one hand…

literature: I’ve been a voracious reader since middle school. I have several favorites, but perhaps José Saramago is the best so far.

music: I started to play the trumpet when I was first allowed to. I joined the Promenadorquestern of KTH and stayed for five years. My iPod mini is always with me.

games: My brother tought me boardgames before I could read. I have arranged three National Diplomacy Championships, and have been an active member of the Stockholm gamer’s club Unionen.

student theatre: I joined Kårspexet 1492 at KTH as a substitute during the Spring of 2002, and have since been more or less involved in eight plays including a guest appearance in Juristspexet at Stockholm University.

film: I discovered the movies at high school, and am a fan of all film directors named Anderson.

• Since youth I have enjoyed computers. This eventually got me into computer engineering at KTH, which resulted in many friends but few academic credits. I have done some work in Filemaker programming, and also enjoy dabbling with html and php.
